As per usual, I started this week by going crazy with the posters, trying to make the main display as eye-catching as possible and position it in a high-traffic area.
I also managed to do some chalking in some high-traffic areas, like Union Court (where people sit to eat lunch) and outside the main lecture theatres.
Since the weather forecast didn't look great for the rest of the week, I also got right into the whiteboarding, putting 'magazines4students.com.au' borders around several whiteboards as well as trying to get creative with some cartoons. This was really effective, and my friends mentioned that they had noticed them around campus! I am also really happy to notice that nobody is rubbing them off!
On the liaison side of things, I spent half an hour yesterday wandering around Union Court handing out folders to people sitting in the sun. There were St. Patrick's day celebrations on yesterday so there were quite a few people around! I also left some folders in the Student Space with the other freebies.
As a final note, I'm happy to report that the weather forecasts were wrong this week, so my chalking has lasted all week! Hooray!
Hope you are all enjoying your campaigns :-)
Amie
