Crowded central train station,
Waiting in bus lines hoping to push through and get a spot on the 891,
Rushing to your lecture 10 mins late,
Running up and down flights of stairs to get from one class to another...
and at the end moment you have a break, the choice between salad or kebab zaps any remaining energy left in you...
and at that point you decide to take a break on the lawn or the grass or the bench or the bus home...
What you don't know is that you've probably walked past many of our lovely M4S posters...
but that's okay! we understand as your fellow UNSW ambassadors... so we've changed our tactics!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This week was all about creativity here at UNSW! Our arts campus might be a bus ride away, but there is still plenty of creativity floating around!
We realised that many UNSW-ers dont see the flood of posters that are postered up around the uni as they are frantically trying to conserve energy to get from one class to another... So we decided to make things more interesting... make our posters more visible... and put them in places where people HAVE to stop and stare! (i think im moving but i goooo nooo whereeeeee)
Here's a few where we put at popular places for people who are studying and during 70% of their "study time" when they stare off into the distance, we were ready to capture their ATTENTION!
M is for M4S.... and Maybelle |
But we didn't just stop there!!! we decided to poster the wall that everyone has to walk past... product placement you say??? yeah we got it under control!!!
We were trying to do the WHOLE WALL!!! but it was supper windy and it wasnt working as well as it developed in our heads... so we stopped at the eye level of people....
And then knowing that we go to the most ASIAN university in the WORLLDDDDD (potentially), and with ASIANS, they want freeeeeee stufff!!!! so we decided to do more handing out of brochures and just talking to people about different savings they could get from the M4S campaign.
So pretty much this week was pretty exciting and creative!! We hope you have enjoyed this little ramble on what happens on the other side of Sydney!
SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!
