Magazines4Students UON week 1

Week 1

Hey fellow, M4S team

Natalie here this week from team UoN giving you an update of all the things we’ve been up to this week.

 For us this week our main aim was to raise awareness of magazines4 students so we started by pestering and chalking around all the main areas of campus and I think it worked more so the chalk the some of the posters as some of our posters have been taken down L but the chalking that we did on Monday is still there on the steps and the handrail. So next week we might have to try doing something bigger with chalk and we also noticed that our posters in educational purpose building are still up rather than recreational purpose building so this will be our postering target of week 2

Then later on in the week we did some walking around the main entrance of campus handing out brochures and letting interested students know how they could subscribe. One girl even told us that she had the website magazines4students.com.au on her mind as she reads it every time she crosses the footbridge. Hanging around this area gave as an idea seeing all the traffic banked up as students tried to find a car park to hold a The Economist poster above my head on the side of the road. We definitely go a few people’s attention.

That's it for week one and what a busy week it has been  and after overcoming a few troubles encountered whilst trying to organise a market for stall day, we are both looking forward to week 2.
