Week Two At Griffith
Week two continued on
from a strong week 1. In week two I
posted “The Economist” and also put up HEAPS more flyer holders. I also went
around to all the flyers and posters from the previous week to check how things
were going. Lots of numbers had been taken off posters in really central areas
and there were a fair few flyer holders that were completely EMPTY!! I found that those flyer holders being emptied
out were usually outside lecture theatres and that people standing around
waiting for a class to commence would probably take them for something to look
at and then get excited about the great discounts!
A major problem I encountered was trying to organise a stall at the market day. Market day would have been a prime place to talk to students about Magazines 4 Students but despite multiple emails being sent the university contact just would not get back to me with prices or respond. This was really difficult and disappointing as this was something I really wanted to do! I made the most of it though and got my trusty friends at Golden Key who had a stall to hand out folders for me on their stall. I did not want to miss the opportunity!!
